As the MAINTENANCE TECH with LIBERTY PACKAGING - OMAHA, you will be will serve as a key member of the maintenance team with a primary focus on maintaining, troubleshooting issues and repairing of mechanical and electrical repair of Liberty Packaging's production machinery equipment used in the manufacturing of corrugated boxes and displays -involving PLCs, mechanical, robotics, pneumatics and mechanical with manual assist with planned capital investments that are focused on increased automation.

This full-time position reports directly to the MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR and is located at Liberty Packaging’s manufacturing plant in Papillion, Nebraska.

Hiring for 2nd Shift with shift differential in addition to base pay!

2ND SHIFT: Monday through Friday 2:50pm - 11:00pm

Required Skills

IN THIS MAINTENANCE TECH ROLE YOU WILL:

• Use your technical knowhow and mechanical aptitude to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and replace or repair parts.
• Confidently apply the appropriate hand /power tools, electric and volt meters, and material handling equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair/replace.
• Proactively perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilities.  Collect, analyze and summarize maintenance related information and trends to drive efficiencies, streamline processes and support business decision.

 MAINTENANCE TECH QUALIFICATIONS:

• A 2-year technical degree in industrial maintenance or electrical technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 - 10 years of experience with demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Experience repairing and replacing mechanical drive components.
• Experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Boiler License (Not Required).
