    POSTED JOB TITLE: Assistant Baseball Coach, Athletics

    JOB DESCRIPTION: The full-time Assistant Baseball Coach at Cameron University, an NCAA Division II member of the Lone Star Conference, assists the head baseball coach with the development and implementation of a successful college program.

    Job Duties as Assistant Baseball Coach include but are not limited to:

    -- On-field instruction during practices and games.

    -- Recruiting student athletes.

    --Team fundraising and alumni engagement

    -- Active in community service activities.

    -- Assure success of the student athletes.

    -- Facility maintenance for baseball field.

    -- Other duties as assigned.

    Supervision: Assistant Baseball Coach will report to Head Baseball Coach for general supervision.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Bachelor's degree.
    2. College, graduate assistant or high school coaching experience.
    3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    4. Demonstrated organizational and management ability.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Master's Degree.
    2. Coaching and recruiting experience at the collegiate level.
