ABOUT THE POSITION: :
Reporting to the Dean, Workforce Education and Economic Development, the primary role of this full time instructional position is to provide college level instruction and instruction-related activities designed to encourage, support and enable students' success. The compensation (pay level) for this position is based upon the degree level attained and years of experience in the specific discipline (Step 10 is the maximum step for an incoming faculty member). Required Skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited (or equivalent) institution of higher education in one of the following fields; or Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in one or more of the following fields:
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
A master’s degree in mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering from a regionally accredited college or university, with emphasis on (CNC) Computer Numerical Control programming & operation, Manual Machining & Fabrications, Additive Manufacturing, Lean Mfg., Industrial Safety, Quality Control.
Required Experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Teaching experience with HAAS CNC is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in community or state college teaching and assessment. Familiarity with distance education delivery methods is desirable.
