JOB DESCRIPTION

The Quality Inspector is responsible for the inspection of Circuit Cards, electronic components, electro-mechanical components and/or in-process units by using drawings and inspection instructions.

•  Inspect per drawings, procedures and work instructions.
•  Prepare and upload results of test and inspection.
•  Utilize ERP system 
•  Maintain organized work area. 
•  Perform other various types of inspection as required
•  Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent. 
• Must pay attention to detail and have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to understand written work instructions, and drawings.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel.
• Must be able to successfully pass Astronautics 1-week solder training program.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Inspection experience
• Electronics assembly experience
• 3 or more years of relevant experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent vision, ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods of time.

Required Skills Required Experience

1. Adequate vision, with or without corrective lenses and adequate hearing with or without aids, are needed.

2.  The employee must attend work daily as scheduled. The job requires extended periods of sitting and use of computers.

 3. Computer and math skills preferred.
