    Description: Clinical Director of Azusa MA Program in Marriage and Family Therapy, Supervisor of MA Clinical Directors at all campuses (San Diego, Inland Empire, Orange County)


    Specialization: MA in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and supervise Regional campus clinical directors

    • Attend quarterly Los Angeles Consortium Meetings

    • Attend monthly director meetings (all campuses) in-person or virtually

    • Conduct new student orientation and recruitment meetings with Program Directors

    • Develop placement sites in the regional area for students each year and maintain/sustain quality assurance

    • Establish contracts between practicum sites and APU

    • Build reputation and relationships between APU and practicum sites

    • Oversee students’ clinical placements

    • Conduct site visits

    • Coordinate and teach clinical courses

    • Plan and implement the Practicum Fair

    • Maintain contact between site directors and supervisors

    • Meet with students each year to determine appropriate placement **

    • Maintain student files with appropriate BBS documentation

    • Update the Clinical Training Manual yearly

    • Assist Administrative Director in creating and administering Clinical Competency Exams

    • Update and amend as needed the annual Clinical Training Manual

    • Stay up to date with current BBS changes (forms, laws, etc) that impact students/faculty/program, making necessary changes as needed

    • May be needed to work at alternative Regional Campuses or Sites.


    Level: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor


    Qualifications: Masters Degree, California License in Marriage and Family Therapy, Supervision Experience


    Experience: Minimum two years supervision experience, AAMFT Approved supervisor (or in process), graduate level teaching experience

    Compensation:

    $66,560 to $125,460 is the annual salary for this role and reflects what Azusa Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, APU offers a competitive benefits package.

    Compensation will be based on experience, rank, and qualifications.
