GRAPHIC DESIGNER - REMOTE

FULL TIME, 40 HRS/WK

M-F 8:00AM - 5:00PM WITH FLEXIBILITY

HealthFitness has a great opportunity for a GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join the Corporate Marketing Team.  In this position, you will serve as an integral member of the HealthFitness Marketing team by collaborating with internal clients, team members and occasionally external clients to develop marketing materials and communications that attract, inspire and engage our target audiences, as we work collectively to help improve the health and wellness of those we serve. In this role you’ll require skills to create impactful integrated strategic campaigns and also support short term needs with quick turn design requests for our client’s clubs, gyms and programs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Create and design materials for print and digital that will appeal to various audiences (market, clients, participants).
• Collaborate with a team of strategists, content writers and other designers to determine design direction, strategy and plan.
• Concept, illustrating options and examples based on requirements for review.
• Prepare drafts for full design review.
• Amend designs after feedback.
• Coordinate with external agencies, contractors, printers and art services, as needed.
• Manage multiple projects at a time, communicating progress, obtaining approvals and effectively moving deliverables to completion.
• Establish creative direction for the HealthFitness brand and associated brands determining and documenting brand guidelines.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional groups.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL PROVIDE

• 5+ years’ experience in Graphic Design. 
• 2 year Associate of Art or Technical degree in design, marketing, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Powerpoint and Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to work in Mac required.
• Demonstratable graphic design skills with a compelling portfolio of projects showcasing diverse skills.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Ability to clearly communicate reasoning behind design choices.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity and multimedia design.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate projects across external resources and internal teams.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of associates in the organization.

Required Skills Required Experience

• DDS/DMD degree (or equivalent)
• Completed advanced training in endodontics post-graduate residency training from a U.S. accredited school
• Applicants must be eligible for full or limited dental licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Demonstrated record of teaching experience, involvement in leadership in dentistry at the local or national level, with participation in community service also being desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Board Certification
• Prior teaching experience
