    BU College of Fine Arts (CFA) is a community of artist-scholars and scholar-artists who are passionate about the fine and performing arts, committed to diversity and inclusion, and determined to improve the lives of others through art. The CFA consists of three schools: Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts.

    The Communications Manager will bring the College's communications strategies to life through production efforts across all platforms and media including website, print, advertising, public relations, digital and social. This position is the production anchor for the department, running day-to-day tasks related to projects, maintaining production timelines, organizing workflow traffic, utilizing work studies and graduate assistants to keep production moving, actively pitching the media, implementing campaigns on social channels, and processing invoices.

    The Communications Manager works with a team with multifaceted strengths including the Director and Assistant Director, as well as partners in the Dean's Office.

    Required Skills

    • B.A./B.S. required or equivalent with a minimum of three to five years of experience
    • Experience with web-based applications such as content management systems and other technology-driven features
    • Marketing/Communications experience and graphic design background preferred
    • Project Management experience a must
