  • Responsibilities

    HealthFitness has a great opportunity for a part-time (1 hr/week) PILATES INSTRUCTOR at our client site located in San Diego, California. In this position, you will be responsible for providing challenging, fun, effective and safe mat-based Pilates classes for up to 10 people. SCHEDULE IS TUESDAYS 12:00-12:45.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Pilates instructor certification required.
    • Current First Aid and CPR/AED or BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
    • Minimum 2+ years teaching Pilates classes strongly preferred.
    • Must submit hours and commission through our payroll application (Workday).

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Ph.D. degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Genetics/Genomics or related field OR MD degree
    • Programming skills (SAS and/or R) preferred
    • Only US Citizens or green card holders are eligible for this NIH-funded training program.

    This position is a postdoctoral training opportunity paid a stipend, and the successful individual will be engaged in a temporary and a defined period of mentored advanced training and professional development following completion of a doctoral degree program. BU is not able to offer traditional employee benefits to non-employee postdoctoral trainees.
