    Dance Instructor - Philadelphia

    Needed for a special event in September/October to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

    HealthFitness is looking for a Dance Instructor to lead a special event at our client site located in Philadelphia. In this position you will provide fun, effective and safe dance class to participants. This is a position teaching at special events on an as-needed basis.

    What you'll need to have

    • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
    • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
    • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. ****

  • Qualifications

    Required:

    • Master's degree
    • Five to eight years of experience in graduate enrollment management, including admissions, recruitment, financial aid, and scholarship/discount modeling
    • Sensitivity for multicultural, disability, and socio-economic diversity with an awareness of best practices
    • Experience supporting data-informed decisions. Experience using data analytics and predictive modeling to enhance enrollment strategies
    • Knowledge of new developments and innovations in enrollment strategies in graduate education
    • Experience serving diverse student populations and a demonstrated commitment to racial justice, equity, and inclusion
    • Ability to drive change and deliver results in a complex, decentralized environment
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to deliver dynamic and engaging presentations to large and diverse audiences
    • Proficiency with social media to build presence and extend brand awareness -Prior supervisory experience and a commitment to mentor and develop staff
    • May travel and may need to work some evenings and weekends with advance notice

     

    Preferred:

    • Interest in health-care professions and the role of AAU/R1 universities in the US higher-education system
    • Comprehensive understanding of the marketplace for graduate education and the importance of an effective value proposition
    • Experience working as a member of a cross-disciplinary team and a willingness to taking a leadership role as appropriate
    • Experience with digital event platforms preferred
