  • Responsibilities

    The Research Assistant will be responsible for subject recruitment and data entry at the Boston research site of two studies: the BBRAIN MRI brain imaging study and the PET brain imaging study in Gulf War veterans. The Research Assistant will assist with MRI and PET imaging, and study meetings, planning, and coordination. The Research Assistant will schedule neuroimaging, cognitive imaging, blood draws and other appointments for participants, as well as maintain test equipment. The Research Assistant will be in charge of ordering supplies and coordinating subject payments, as well as administering neuropsychological tests and escorting participants to the MRI, PET, and blood draw appointments. The Research Assistant will also help plan and lead monthly web-based team meetings and maintain a record of the meeting minutes. The Research Assistant will also perform literature searches and assist with compilation of annual reports, meeting abstracts and presentations, and manuscripts for publication.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
    • 1 – 3 years of experience
