    Our team is currently looking for a Platform Administrator III. The Platform Administrator III will support the configuration, monitoring, and operation of the OnBase Document Imaging & Management SAS platform cloud hosted by the vendor Hyland. This position works constructively in a supporting role, as part of a small team which provides efficient service management processes including service request fulfillment, incident response, problem management, and business cycle sustainment and continuity for OnBase. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of tasks on a week to week basis as a member of a dynamic and upbeat team.

    The Platform Administrator participates in quality assurance testing and maintains operating procedure documentation. Duties include vendor communications, data & document import configuration management, testing, identity and access management, and incident and service request management. The Platform Administrator will play a central role in system patches and upgrades applied by the vendor, and other platform-specific application management support. Responsibilities include coordinating work with integrations and other applications development teams at Boston University, maintaining the operational calendar, as well as training clients on routine operational tasks around user management and implementing document scanning. The Platform Administrator will have central responsibility for ensuring that assigned project and operational changes are completed in a best practice, process-driven manner.     Required Skills

    • B.A./B.S. required.
    • Five to eight years of technology-related application support work experience, preferably with electronic document management systems.
    • One to three years of experience with OnBase.
    • Demonstrated capacity for flexibility, imagination, and creative problem-solving skills; ability to approach problems with empathy, patience, and a sense of humor.
    • Applying detail-oriented skills to research issues, resolve problems, and document resolution steps are critical to success in this position.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently to perform routine daily work and handle tickets as well as a prioritized flow of project related work required for this position.
    • Be able to analyze and understand existing implemented functionality based on technical specification documents, diagrams, and existing configuration and to learn from online training materials will be key factors to success.
    • Desire and ability to work with a collaborative team and evolving requirements and solutions will be key to job satisfaction in this position.
    • Experience with writing & maintaining standard operating procedures strongly desired.
    • Experience working in an ITIL environment is desirable.
    • Experience with ServiceNow is desirable.
