PART-TIME TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, LIVESTREAM, Marsh Chapel
Marsh Chapel and the Office of Religious Life at Boston University seek a candidate to serve as the Technical Director of Livestream and Digital Media who will develop and produce an exemplary worship service livestream that reflects our mission, vision, and values. This new position's primary responsibilities include overseeing/managing all audio-visual aspects of the Sunday 11:00 am worship service livestream, producing and editing audio-visual content, managing media archives, and updating relevant media content on all digital/social media platforms. The technical director works in collaboration with all stakeholders, including the Dean, Ministry and Music leadership, and the communications team. They will also lead and cultivate an excellent production team of student staff. This position will report to the Director of Music, Arts & Cultural Engagement, and then to the Dean.

Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have extensive audio-visual, lighting, and production skills as well as comfort and familiarity with the technology and tools used for multi-camera livestreaming, especially the NewTek TriCaster. A bachelors degree in video production, sound engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience is strongly preferred; communications and social media skills required (Instagram, Meta Business Suite, Google Suite, Canva, and Wordpress). The candidate must be passionate about recruiting, training, equipping, and empowering student staff to assist with the livestream each week, possess strong organizational/time management skills with a commitment to excellence and attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as with a diverse team of all ages.
