    We invite motivated job seekers looking to make their mark in the busy and welcoming Department of Economics to apply for our Administrative Coordinator position. This position is available as early as June 1, 2022. The Administrative Coordinator acts as an administrative assistant to the Chair of Economics. As such, you will interface with dozens of faculty researchers and instructors and play an active hand in shaping the community of our department. Responsibilities include: coordinate and process faculty recruitment, s visa requirements for newly appointed faculty, existing faculty, and visitors hosted by the department. Individual will take an administrative lead in faculty reappointments, mid-tenure reviews, tenure and take minutes for faculty meetings. In late fall, you will be supporting the PhD job market candidate recommendation letter campaign, and in the spring you will support the undergraduate and masters Convocation. No two days are the same in this vibrant department with an international research reputation, and you will be part of a tight-knit staff who meet each week to learn how we can support each other through our bigger projects.

     

    Required Skills

     

    • Bachelor's Degree Required and 3+ years of prior office experience
