FINANCE AND OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR, School of Medicine, Associate Provost's
The Finance & Operations Administrator of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) works closely with the Assistant Director for Finance and Operations in the coordination of the CTI's day-to-day financial, administrative, and operational management. Runs monthly financial reports, reconciles CTSI expenses & prepares journals as needed, has overall responsibility for accounts payable, program income journals and CTSI related travel arrangements and reimbursements. Provides administrative support for the Executive office to include scheduling meetings, organizing meeting events to internal and external boards, Symposia as well as Leadership meetings. Provides operational support for the Executive Office to include BU Facility requests, assist with space planning, equipment maintenance and inventory. Works closely with Boston University's procurement, facilities and IT in the support of the CTSI Finance, administrative and operational support.
Required Skills
The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong work ethic and communication skills; comprehensive knowledge of office administrative procedures, has working knowledge of budgets and reporting. Is comfortable working with senior managers and all relevant internal and external constituencies in a service-oriented, large-scale and complex organization on research activity in conjunction with diverse faculty, staff, and administrators.
A bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience is required.
