FIELD PRODUCTION SERVICES MANAGER, College of Communication, Technology
The College of Communication at Boston University is seeking a Field Production Services Manager. This position is responsible for over 5,800 pieces of equipment ranging from digital voice recorders to (specific cameras) and lighting equipment for over 3,000 students, faculty, and staff. This position is responsible for managing the overall workflow/functionality of the equipment room and all production equipment owned by the college. The Field Production Services Manager works closely with students, faculty, and staff to ensure all equipment is accounted for, correctly checked out, handled properly and meets the needs of course related projects. Extensive Production knowledge is a must. The Field Production Manager should have knowledge or experience in the latest acquisition formats, lighting, and sound equipment. Prior experience managing a large inventory of production equipment is preferred, especially in an academic environment. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary as the Field Production Manager will interact with the clients.
