    The Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Technology & International Relations. The position will begin July 1, 2020, subject to budget approval. We seek applicants whose work focuses on the impact and regulation of technology in contemporary international relations, including in international security, environment, development, commerce, communications, and human rights.

     

    We welcome applications from scholars in any relevant discipline, including international relations, science and technology studies, political science, history, sociology, anthropology, development, and international political economy. We are open to all methodological approaches and regional specializations, but have a particular interest in candidates who incorporate data analytics in the context of social science instruction. Successful candidates would be expected to have completed a Ph.D. by August 15, 2020. The Pardee School of Global Studies is committed to multidisciplinary, policy-relevant research and teaching. Candidates who have demonstrated policy experience are especially encouraged to apply.
