  • Responsibilities

    The Academic Program Administrator manages the day-to-day operations for the degree and certificate programs in the Department of Epidemiology. Programs include Masters of Public Health (MPH), the Master of Science (MS) and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs. The APA will be able to describe the program, policies and explain requirements to graduate students enrolled in their respectful degree and certificate programs. They will act as a facilitator on behalf of students, and will work closely with faculty and administration at the School of Public Health to help ensure student success and a quality program. This position manages student information, curriculum development, local production of publications, updating of courses, syllabi, academic documents, student activities and organizes the department annual retreat. This person, in conjunction with the Department Chair, Program Directors, Office of Career Services, and Directors of Professional and Academic Advising and Graduate Student Life, oversees curricular and department educational activities.

    Required Skills

    1 Year of experience and a Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred
