POST DOCTORAL FELLOW, Department of Global Health, School of Public Health
Professors Veronika Wirtz and Peter Rockers at the Boston University School of Public Health are seeking a Post-doctoral Fellow to work with them on several projects related to the evaluation of pharmaceutical industry-led access programs in low- and middle-income countries.
Drs. Wirtz and Rockers lead several research projects focused access to medicines including rigorous impact evaluations of pharmaceutical industry-led access programs. Their work in this area spans the globe, including projects in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Their work includes both primary and secondary data analysis and bridges the fields of economics and public health.
They are seeking a highly motivated and capable post-doctoral researcher to pursue innovative analyses with the potential for high policy impact. The analyses will be predominantly quantitative and will use data from field trials, household surveys, and health facility assessments. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to collaborate and lead on developing study protocols, drafting grant proposals, designing research instruments, creating analytical frameworks, analyzing data and preparing manuscripts for publication.
Qualifications:
