EDUCATIONAL MEDIA PRODUCER, INSTRUCTIONAL PRODUCTION SERVICES, Digital Learning & Innovation
Instructional Production Services (IPS), part of Digital Learning & Innovation (DL&I) at BU, is seeking an Educational Media Producer (EMP) with creative storytelling capabilities as well as strong video production, graphic, and editing skills. Along with a team of other multimedia producers, instructional support specialists, and digital learning designers, the EMP will help develop compelling multimedia objects in support of faculty teaching initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking multimedia creator with the ability to tell engaging stories about teaching, learning, and research. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work on a team of creative professionals and partner on creative solutions. A successful candidate will be organized and proactive, have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
The EMP will support all aspects of the video and audio production process: pre-production, planning, logistics, recording, editing, incorporating feedback, animation and delivery. This includes field and studio recording, the creation and integration of graphics, titles and animated sequences using Adobe Premiere and After Effects, and the preparation of a final product to be implemented into a learning management system.
