  • Responsibilities

    The Laboratory of Cognitive Neurobiology at Boston University School of Medicine is seeking applicants for the position of Research Technician. The position will involve working on projects related to our studies investigating the neurobiological bases of age-related cognitive decline and recovery of function after brain injury. The position will involve processing brain and spinal cord tissue with histological and molecular techniques and assisting with animal (non-human primates) care and clinical procedures.

    Required Skills

    • Any experience working with animals and especially non-human primates would be an advantage.
    • Experience with some of the following is encouraged:
    1. Laboratory animal research
    2. Immunohistochemistry
    3. RNAseq
    4. In situ hybridization
    5. Primary tissue culture
    6. In vitro slice culture
