  • Responsibilities

    The Academic Services Administrator will manage administrative tasks for the College of Arts and Science Advising Office, update student records, supervise program coordinators and student workers, work directly with the Director of Academic Services, Assistant Dean, and Associate Dean on special projects, oversee the office budget, and serve as a point of contact for building-related questions and concerns.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Manage advising appointment scheduling system for the College advisors
    • Supervise two program coordinators and 1-3 student workers
    • Maintain and update student records, office materials, and the CAS Advising website
    • Work with Director, Assistant Dean and Associate Dean on various office projects, including but not limited to projects around graduation advising, academic integrity, and degree audits
    • Manage office budget
    • Act as building liaison between staff and facilities when questions/concerns arise

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience
    • Ability to work independently and on team projects
    • Strong administrative skills, including time management, organization, attention to detail, etc.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
