    Summary : Responsible for designing, creating, and delivering critical plan performance trend analytics, reports, and insights to clients. The position is essential to providing a consultative experience to our employer clients that delivers on our promise of bending the medical cost trend. This role develops insights for clients in a meaningful way that assists them in problem solving, solution development, decision making and strategic planning around their benefits program and collaborates with Client Management on recommendations and next steps based on trend data, client objectives and Health Benefits offering. The role will also provide analytics support for client, prospect, and internal special projects—developing and understanding the relevant data, displaying it clearly and presenting the findings. The position will be a key resource in the evolution and support of upgrading our overall data analytics and reporting capabilities. The role will work with our Data Analytics owner and other relevant support partners to identify and implement needed tools, processes, and capabilities. The position partners with Client Management, Data Analytics and Reporting, Healthcare Management, Sales Executives, Product Management, Marketing, Reporting and Business Analysts, IT and other disciplines as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    Client Plan Performance Analysis, Insights and Delivery

    • Design, create, implement, and continuously improves client plan performance data, analytics, and reporting
    • Work with client management staff to analyze and discuss client plan performance trend data and leverages knowledge to develop appropriate actions plans and recommendations. Align data insights with pre-determined options for actions clients can take to improve the performance and results of their health plan
    • Conducts detailed analyses and supporting queries to understand emerging or new trends in the client’s data. Strong ability to identify important patterns in the data and understand essential linkages between plan changes, new products and services, utilization, and enrollment.
    • Applies strong critical thinking skills to understand how all client data from multiple sources fits together; can explain underlying drivers and implications. Is able to test data validity and identify inconsistencies. Monitor program performance to identify both successful and unsuccessful program designs
    • Knows how to visually display data and trends to tell a clear story.
    • Prepares and presents relevant analytics for quarterly client meetings. Effectively develops overviews, demonstrations, and presentations to a wide variety of internal and external audiences
    • Collaborates with peers to evolve and improve the standard Health Benefits reporting and analytics template.

    Client, Prospect, and Internal Special Projects Analytics Support

    • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for client special needs and requests. Is able to interpret the client’s questions and develop a framework and approach to address. Understands and effectively uses relevant data and past Health Benefits experiences.
    • Attend and present at key client-facing meetings to include quarterly client reviews, new prospect meetings, and finalist presentations.
    • Work individually or as a team member to tackle internal special projects related to building or evolving capabilities. Able to manage ambiguity and exploratory assignments and create and synthesize needed data and metrics related to testing new products and services, analytics packages, service models or communication campaigns. ****

    Client and Member Reporting and Analytics Solution Design, Evolution and Support

    • Participates and drives work to design, develop and implement a suite of monthly/quarterly/annual client friendly reports to be leveraged by Data Reporting, Client Management and Sales teams.
    • Partners and collaborates with Data Analytics team members to enhance data analytics and capabilities including process, technologies, and skill building. Assists in work to improve overall data quality and associated processes, evaluate, and implement new vendors and tools and support needed problem solving and testing.
    • Assist in the coaching/mentoring and development of the business reporting analyst in the area a data queries, custom report development, analysis, and trend identification
    • Masters’ data analytics and reporting tools and can effectively train and mentor Data Reporting Analysts, Client Management, clients, and prospects on proper use of tool features to prospects.
    • Partners in designing and improving member data analytics tools and presentation.
    • Identify opportunity to improve and/or refine analytics, reporting and associated tools based on client and prospect work and broker input and questions.
    • Support RFP responses for data analytics capabilities
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, or an analytically oriented healthcare field.
    • Experience serving in a customer facing role.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data management and analytics; healthcare and/or insurance experience preferred.
    • Proven ability to build relationships with multiple individuals and functions and quickly establish credibility.
    • Superior written, verbal, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Excellent presentation skills for multiple audience types including the ability to interact with outside clients, prospects, and brokers
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as a high degree of creativity, flexibility, and self-direction
    • Resourceful in the ability to identify and obtain new sources of information.
    • Knowledge of healthcare, benefits, insurance industry, and managed care delivery system.
    • Health care experience with payer, provider, PBM or analytics vendor a plus.
    • Must be able to travel approximately 30% of the time.

    The compensation range for this position is between $64,455.00 and $121,027.00. The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.

  • Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have established experience in three or more of the following: (a) advanced techniques in biochemistry, cellular, molecular biology relevant to vascular biology and fibrosis research; (b) genomic or epigenomic approaches; (c) experimental modeling and analysis of fibrosis in mice; (d) primary culture and/or analysis of mesenchymal cell populations; and (e) cell/tissue imaging techniques such as fluorescence, confocal, multiphoton microscopy (f) FACS sorting.
