  • Responsibilities

    The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for developing, monitoring, maintaining budgets and tracking financial activity in order to facilitate planning and ensure appropriate controlling of activities. The position provides analytical support in the management of the University's Operations division. Supports leadership in projects including institutional campus/municipal planning and operational activities. Regular position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Quarterly and Annual budget preparation and submission.
    • Monthly Budget to Actual Reporting.
    • Monthly meetings with departments to review reports and gather support for variance and flux explanations.
    • KPI and Dashboard development.
    • Ad-hoc report development.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years related experience in financial management and/or financial/budget administration.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to write with clarity.
    • Competence in project and organizational budgeting as well as larger strategic and tactical thinking.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter and team member.
