  • Responsibilities
    • The person in this position is the resident technology expert actively involved in managing these main areas within BU Housing, which is StarRez: The Core Housing Management System, Portal Management (applications, room selection, and web forms), testing and auditing the integrity of interfaces and upgrades, staff training, and development of policies and procedures to ensure support requirements are met in a 24/7 operation environment.

    Required Skills

    • B.A./B.S. required, Master's degree preferred
    • 5-8 years of experience in housing platforms (StarRez, CBORD, CCURE, experience. etc.), SQL, application development and website troubleshooting, WordPress, technical expertise in detailed web design, administration and maintenance of local area networks and/or PCs.
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving, project management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
