  • Responsibilities

    Boston University’s Department of Film and Television invites applications for a one-year lecturer position (3/3) in Television Studies. This position is not renewable. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Media Studies at the time of appointment and teaching experience at the college level. Applicants should be prepared to teach an introductory survey course in TV history as well as upper-level seminars. Duties will include supervising graduate student Teaching Assistants. The Film and Television Studies Program prioritizes inclusive pedagogy and encourages diversity in reading and screening material.
