  • Responsibilities

    The Assignment Network is an in-house networking process to facilitate matching opportunities and people for short-term and low-percentage assignments. The Digital Square/CoDE team is currently seeking PROGRAM ASSISTANTS to support Data Entry and Migration.

     

    PERCENTAGE TIME: 75% BUT NEGOTIABLE

    PROGRAM/DIVISION: DIGITAL SQUARE/CODE

    LOCATION: USA

    START DATE:  DECEMBER 2022

    END DATE: 3 MONTHS FROM THE START

     

    SCOPE OF WORK

    Support project management team in Seattle and DC to:

    • Audit, assess, and prepare data in our current systems

    • Identify risks, errors, and improvement opportunities

    • Update USAID tracker

    • Work with Knowledge Management Consultant and Project Lead to ensure file locations match the new architecture

      

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Support strategy and plan to populate and migrate data including charters, plans/work plans, and trackers to new system/repository; converting content as needed.

    • Manage data preparation to standardize formats/file names, eliminate redundancies, remove outliers, and prevent errors/inaccuracies. 

    • Advise of risks and potential impacts of conversions/migrations or mitigation options/solutions.

    • Ensure data quality by assessing whether files are intact and useable

    • Manage USAID tracker by reviewing approval folders and updating with missing/new awards. 

    • Create and maintain data migration map/inventory, including links to successor folders.

    • Review the new data system and identify errors or areas for improvement

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • A relevant bachelor’s degree preferred in information technology or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Data mapping and entry required; experience with Box, Google Drive, SharePoint, and Smartsheet preferred. 

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite, and ability to learn Smartsheet. 

    • Strong organizational skills, high level of attention to detail, and effectiveness under deadlines.

    • Fluency in English required

    The successful candidate will be an outstanding scholar, holding a PhD, ThD, or appropriate equivalent degree, whose research and teaching contribute to the School of Theology and the Academy in the work of religion and black studies and to models and practices of ethical leadership.
