  • Responsibilities

    The Department of Physical Education, Recreation & Dance is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to assist the Manager of Membership and Facility Operations with the day-to-day operation of all facilities and services overseen and offered through the department. As part of the Facility Management Team, this position is primarily responsible for management of special events and rentals, including the management, planning, billing and on-site supervision. In addition, general operational responsibilities such as security, safety, guest services, maintenance,and student staff oversight are included. Position requires weekend and evening hours in coordination with the facilities management team.

    Required Skills

    Bachelor's degree in sports/recreation management or related, with Master's degree preferred. One to three years experience in event planning, facility management or related field. The ideal candidate willpossess exceptional attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple events along with day to day responsibilities, while working to meet strategic goals.
