  • Responsibilities

    The Theology Library seeks a part-time (10-20 hours per week) technical service librarian with experience in cataloging musical scores, hymnals, and rare books related to music, especially church music.

    Compensation
    10-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule, $25 per hour. Depending upon the number of hours worked each week, this position will be for a period of 6 months – 9 months.

    Required Skills

    Required Qualifications

    • MLS from an ALA-accredited institution.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience cataloging and working on metadata projects in an academic library setting.
    • Background in music cataloging.
    • Experience with original cataloging of rare books

    Desired Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Music.
    • Experience and familiarity with Alma.
    • Ordering and cataloging experience using OCLC-Connexion
