    The Department of Mass Communication, Advertising and Public Relations at Boston University seeks to hire a Senior Lecturer in Advertising. This is a non-tenure track full-time faculty position beginning with the 2023-2024 academic year. The ideal candidate will bring both intellectual and experiential diversity to our existing faculty. Teaching assignments for this position include three courses per semester in some combination of undergraduate and graduate level courses.  Depending on the candidate, the courses will include creative courses OR non-creative courses as suited to the candidate’s professional profile.  Creative courses include: Fundamentals of Creative Development, Copywriting, Creative Video Development, AdLab.  Non-creative courses included: Introduction to Advertising, Interactive Marketing, Principles and Practices of Advertising, Ad Management and AdLab. Candidates should show a dedication to creating an inclusive classroom environment that embraces a multiplicity of perspectives.
