Prepare cash credit voucher to record deposits in the University's general ledger. On at least a weekly basis post remit payments on patient account in the clinical information system and process any non-deposit payments from sources other than patients and insurances, including: collection agencies, government grants, payroll deductions. Investigate and resolve all returned payments (checks which have 'bounced') as well as credit card chargeback requests from the BU Cashier's office. Additionally, assist Senior Manager with resolving unallocated credits within the clinical management system (i.e. reviewing the transactions on the patients' accounts to ensure they are allocated to the correct billing invoice or other debit transactions), which improves the overall accuracy of reporting of the A/R.
