  • Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:  The primary purpose is to perform general mechanical troubleshooting and repair equipment.

    • Troubleshoot and solves all mechanical problems. This includes replacing parts such as bearings, pulleys, belts, chains and sprockets.
    • Repair drive component such as motors, gears, reducers.
    • Ability to follow through and make sure proper parts are ordered
    • Ability to use hand tools
    • Knowledge of all related hoses and fittings
    • Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks
    • Ability to follow applicable safety and environment requirements, food safety, GMPs.
    • Basic knowledge of welding
    • Ability to adjust equipment as needed to reach targeted production demands
    • Understand lock-out/tag out procedures
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    • Must have organizational skills
    • Responsible for maintenance

     

     

    Required Skills

    • Previous mechanical experience highly preferred but willing to train
    • Previous experience in Basic Electricity, Pneumatics, Mechanical Power Transmission, Welding
    • Proficient in trouble shooting
    • Education/Experience in the use of measurement tools and instruments
    • Education/Experience in interpreting schematics and pneumatics
    • Proficient in verbal/written communication with upper management
