  • Responsibilities

    Working in small, fast-paced office setting in a pathology laboratory, the candidate who fills this position focuses mainly on producing quality pathology reports pertinent to patient care, which is of upmost importance in this organization. This position requires a detail-oriented, confident individual with strong computer and customer service skills. This individual is knowledgeable of and follows stringent HIPAA guidelines, has the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced and sometimes hectic environment, and contributes as a team player. The ideal candidate boasts professionalism, is extremely organized, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as this person interacts with a variety of individuals at all different levels (MDs, laboratory and office staff, and residents) in addition to others via phone (MDs, NPs, PAs, medical assistants, receptionists, and sometimes patients). Furthermore, this position requires a problem-solving individual who takes initiative and can perform exceedingly well with little to no supervision.

    Required Skills

    Associate degree or equivalent with 1-3 years of related experience.
