INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNERS, Metropolitan College (2084) Tracking Code 2084 Job Description Support faculty through the online course development process, integrate multimedia components into the online courses, ensure BUs instructional standards are met, and troubleshoot technical issues. Collaborate with faculty, review their rough course content, suggest ways the content can be delivered most effectively, and assist faculty with incorporating different course delivery technologies into their courses. Responsible for managing the online course development process and using experience and knowledge of course design and adult learning to develop engaging learning activities for students in the online courses. Required Skills Must have Masters degree in instructional design or closely related field and 2 years of experience working directly with instructors at the university level to integrate multimedia components into their course development, including some experience with LMS (Blackboard or Canvass), multimedia production software (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Final Cut), HTML and CSS, and working with different pedagogies, adult learning, and assessing student needs in an online environment.
