  • Responsibilities

    The College of Arts and Science seeks an academic advisor, based in the Sociology Department, who will advise a case load of predominately first- and second-year students pursing majors in Sociology, Anthropology, and African American and Black Diaspora Studies and minors in Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies. The academic advisor will advise students on major and general education requirements, research and internship options and co-curricular opportunities. Advisors will also have administrative responsibilities related to course enrollments and department wide events.

    Required Skills

     

    A cover letter is required for consideration.

     

    • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience
