    The DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE at Boston University invites applications for a one-year, non-renewable position in American politics, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, for the 2022–23 academic year. We are especially interested in candidates whose research and teaching focus on institutions, public policy and/or campaigns and elections. The candidate will teach two courses each semester.

     

    Candidates should have PhD in hand by the time of appointment and evidence of excellent teaching credentials. To ensure full consideration, please submit the following materials by May 22nd: cover letter, CV, sample syllabi, research statement, teaching statement, diversity statement, sample of scholarly writing, and three letters of reference.
