  • Responsibilities

    The Laboratory of Comparative Cognition at Boston University is interested in hiring a technical research assistant.

    We are a new laboratory applying advanced tools in optics, genetics and cell biology to study the neural basis of cognition.

    Duties of the Research Assistant include:

    • Behavioral studies
    • Working with DNA and gene editing technology, microscopy and, possibly, the undertaking of independent research projects into neural basis of social learning.

    The position requires a 1-year minimum commitment and provides excellent training for medical school or graduate school.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • At least 1 year of related work experience
