  • Responsibilities

    C-Change at BU SPH is seeking a full time Project Coordinator/Research Data Analyst to provide critical research and programmatic support for its Transportation, Equity, Climate and Health (TRECH) program and its Energy and Health program. The successful candidate will be:

    • Performing data analysis for the TRECH project and the Air Quality and Health Benefits of Methane Reduction in the US Oil and Gas Sector project
    • Performing data analysis for the Air Quality and Health Benefits of Methane Reduction in the US Oil and Gas Sector and TRECH projects.

     

    This will involve data analysis using R and GIS. The analytical work will include working with outputs and running these outputs through BenMAPR, a health impact analysis script written in R, and performing summary data analysis on these results. The Research Data Analyst will also create and implement a communication and outreach process for the projects based on data results. This will include working with R and another programming language as well as GIS to summarize results, make maps, figures and tables and make contributions to scientific manuscripts and other project deliverables.

    Required Skills

    A Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of work experience is required for this position.
