  • Responsibilities

    Employee conducts periodic counting of items to ensure accurate inventory records. They provide a continuous pulse check, bridging the gap between recorded data and actual stock.

    · Conduct daily or weekly counts of selected items, ensuring no discrepancy between system data and physical stock.

    · Identify and report variances between the electronic inventory system and the actual count. This might involve collaboration with the inventory or finance departments.

    · Update inventory systems with data entry of accurate counts, ensuring real-time data accuracy

    · Assists the lead person and supervisor with the responsibility of meeting safety, quality, and production goals.

    · Assist in determining root causes for discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.

    · Be familiar with the equipment in the department.

    · Ensures work area is kept clean and sanitary.

    · Follow GMP’s and make sure employees are following GMP’s.

    · Performs other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

    · Attention to detail - eye for accuracy to spot discrepancies.

    · Some high school or equivalent experience

    · Computer experience - Familiarity with inventory software and tools

    · 1 year of on-the-job experience preferred with demonstrated understanding of process flow, quality, efficiency, safety and organizational requirements in the department assigned.

    • 5-8 years of direct work experience with 3+ years of management experience.
