    The Cinema & Media Studies Program at Boston University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professorship in Film Studies, to commence July 1, 2022. Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. in Cinema & Media Studies or related field in hand by the time of appointment. We are especially interested in candidates with strong research profiles in one or more of the following areas: global film history; film/media theory; intermedial relationships across film, television, digital media, photography, video games and visual art; or intersectional approaches to race, gender and sexuality. Candidates should have a robust record of research, as well as evidence of inclusive and innovative approaches to teaching.
