  • Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY Operate a material handling vehicle while being responsible for providing operations with the necessary materials. MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (i.e., Policies, procedures, etc. for which you are responsible.) PICKING • Understand the daily needs of the department. • Pick ingredients based on FIFO or expiration date depending on material. • SAP knowledge to pull ingredients in proper rotation • Transfer pallets from proper storage location to production room and back. • Keep storage areas clean. MISCELLANEOUS • Complete a checklist of forklift maintenance; oil leaks, horn, mast - hydraulic spills, test drive all functions. • Recharge forklift battery at the end of each shift. • Weigh, record and empty inedible product onto collection truck. • Audit inventory as needed. • Communicate with Department Assistant Supervisor and Supervisors on needed supplies for production. • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); recognize and practice Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP). • Keep assigned area clean. • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    B.A./B.S. and one to three years of experience. Wordpress, HTML and Adobe Creative Suite experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills, competency with classroom technologies and training and workshop development experience.
