    This role directly impacts the plant’s effective implementation of digital tools that impact food safety, quality, product, and ingredient traceability. This role represents FSQA on the company’s direction for a paperless environment. To achieve a paperless environment will include analyzing requirements, creating, and maintaining system components, defining data governance systems, and linking FSQA programs and policies in the Plant Management Platform System and similar platforms.

    • Job is an individual contributor. • Job is an individual contributor and has no direct reports. • Champion path to paperless and develop quality and food safety SOP’s and governance policies surrounding data collection. • Maintain document control within safety chain; update existing and approve new forms. Complete training with team members as part of the Plant Management Platform system rollout. • Lead data mining, analyze and interpret data in large and complex data sets by applying statistical methods. • Validate and troubleshoot data inconsistencies found in food safety reports aligned with OSI policies. Strive for data integrity and perform data cleanup activities. • Analyze process validation monitoring data and product specifications to ensure corporate and customer expectations are met. • Lead dashboard creation and maintain food safety and quality focused dashboards. • Investigate customer complaints as required, trend and summarize food safety customer complaints on a weekly basis; provide support for root cause analysis as needed. • Contributes to innovation, troubleshooting, and brainstorming ideas in a team environment. • Coordinate with IT department in the continued development of systems used. • Maintain plant e-sarf, SharePoint and advantage electronic systems. • Prepare status update reports on progress to achieving goals. • Assist with plant HACCP and FSQA process validations. • Working occasional weekends is an expectation of the role. • This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws. • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • 1-3 years of experience in related field is preferred. • Minimum 1 year of food manufacturing plant experience in Quality Assurance required. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels within the organization and with external vendors. • Working knowledge of quality assurance, food safety, food manufacturing processes, technologies, or other relevant areas of responsibility. • Strong relationship skills necessary to achieve successful partnerships and collaborations, both internally and externally, with diverse workgroups. • Relevant experience with government regulatory requirements in food processing. • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products. • BA/BS or equivalent is required. ● In Food Science, Statistics/CI. • Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyor (may depend on the role). • Work conditions are typical of a food manufacturing facility. • This role does not require any domestic travel • Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 50 pounds • Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring. • Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Greater than 4 hours.
