HealthFitness has an excellent opportunity for a Massage Therapist at Advocate Centre Club - Libertyville in Libertyville, IL. In this position, you will be responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests. You will be working approximately 5 hours per week with room for more hours depending on demand.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
• General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
• Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.

Education, Experience & Certifications:

• Massage Therapy License for the state of Illinois.
• 1 to 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
• Sports massage techniques a plus.
• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.
• Flu vaccination required during Fall of 2023.

• Master's Degree
• 5-8 years of work experience.
• Good interpersonal skills working with multiple collaborative groups with competing priorities
• Must know HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Exposure to PHP & MySQL and willingness to learn languages
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs
• Experienced users of MS Office Suite 
• Familiar with Responsive Design
• Preference for demonstrated knowledge of computer equipment
• Solutions oriented personality 
• Ability to pivot between tasks and projects 
• Very strong writing and communication skills 
• Support or lead the research and proposal of system solutions
