    Boston University Cinema & Media Studies Program is hiring a part-time lecturer to teach a standalone topics course during the Spring 2021 semester on either the history or the aesthetics of television .  Course will be a 4-credit seminar capped at 25.  The exact topic of the course is open and should be proposed by the applicant. Proposed courses might address questions of race, gender, form, genre, audience, medium or format, across any period in television history.

    Qualifications

    • authorization to work in the United States required.
    • MA required, PhD preferred.
    • expertise in film and media studies is a must.
    • prior teaching experience will be valued highly.
