  • Responsibilities

     

    We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team full-time (40 hrs/wk) as a senior research assistant for an NIH funded study. The sr. research assistant will be part of a team working on a randomized control trial comparing intervention strategies for and gathering information on pain and depression in patients receiving buprenorphine. As a part of the research team, the research assistant will oversee participant recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities; conduct data collection and analysis; management of study staff, and reporting; and run weekly team meetings and ongoing trainings. Applicants should have a Class C drivers license and a car (travel will be reimbursed).

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Manage recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities in line with approved protocols
    • Oversee data collection, entry, management, and reporting. Work with PI to analysis and evaluate data. Experience with REDCap and reference database applications (e.g., Mendeley, EndNote, RefWorks)
    • Manage all study interventionist scheduling and field all interventionist questions. Act as primary point of contact for all study-related questions 
    • Supervise junior staff and student workers on all day-to-day operations. 
    • Oversee study regulatory documentation and submissions; IRB amendment preparation; participate in grant application submissions

     

    Required Skills

    Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required. 1- 3 years work experience in a clinical research lab and knowledge of REDCap, Mendeley, EndNote, RefWorks, federal funding and IRB protocols.
