    Full-Time Personal Trainer, Cambridge, MA

    40 hours per week, full benefits package, & PTO!

    MIT Recreation , managed by HealthFitness, is looking for a full-time Personal Trainer to work on campus in Cambridge, MA. In this role, you will design & deliver individualized 1-1, buddy, and small group training to our in-person participants based on their needs and goals. You will participate in weekly fitness team meetings, provide administrative support and documentation to the Personal Training program, and assist with new client on-boarding, client & trainer matching, scheduling, and reporting. You'll directly oversee the fitness assessment program including the In Body services and 3 levels of assessments offered (health, fitness, & performance). Other duties as needed/assigned.

    On a weekly basis there will be approximately 20 hours of paid client training and 20 hours of paid administrative work.

    What's Needed:

    • Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider and 1+ years of Personal Training experience.
    • Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
    • Computer proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
    • A customer service focus coupled with solid writing, scheduling, and organizational skills.
