    Schedule: 40 hours/wk, M-F shifts vary between 5:45am-9pm, will work between two facilities on a corporate campus

    Your impact on our members:

    This role is responsible for the development, planning, coordination, marketing and implementation of health and fitness programs and events at their location. The focus of the Program Coordinator is to maximize onsite participation and engagement, enhance the member experience, and exceed customer satisfaction. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for on-site program delivery in alignment with the strategic engagement plan and onsite contract compliance. This individual will instruct and coordinate group exercise classes, promote and schedule personal training appointment, conduct fitness assessments, personalized exercise programs, and orientations, and provide fitness floor coverage and facility oversight. Other duties as-needed/assigned.

    What you bring with you:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related discipline and 1+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education, current certifications and experience.
    • Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
    • Industry recognized Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM or NETA required; if not current, will be required within 90 days of hire
    • Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider a plus.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading, coordinating and delivering effective programs including budgeting, marketing and promotions.
    • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
    • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
    • Proficiency in fitness assessment and exercise prescription if applicable.
