  • Responsibilities

    CARB-X accelerates the pre-clinical development of products to address antibiotic resistance, including drugs, vaccines and diagnostics. The scope of CARB-X includes soliciting applications for funding by us to external organizations, evaluating applications, granting awards, supporting awardees, and monitoring progress. Additionally, we fundraise ourselves and are supported by governments and foundations around the world. CARB-X has built a global reputation for scientific excellence and our brand represents a compelling endorsement to other investors and drug development partners. Communicating our work entails extensive coordination internally, amongst our many partners, and publicly. Under the supervision of the Communications Manager, the Communications Specialist will manage CARB-Xs online channels and develop promotional campaigns. This role is also responsible for overseeing a variety of communications operational and administrative needs, helping run our events and strengthen our brand. Remote or hybrid work will be considered.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelors Degree, direct experience may substitute for educational requirement.
    • Must have directly relevant experience creating and using digital platform content.
