SENIOR STAFF COORDINATOR, Sargent College, Administration

The Sr. Staff Coordinator will assist the Research Administration team with all aspects of grant administration, including assistance with budget management, proposal submissions and post-award paperwork. Reporting to the Director of Research Administration at Sargent College, the roles helps support a complex, diverse grant portfolio for the college totaling $16.8 million in FY23. This is an excellent opportunity to get exposure and training managing federal, state, industry and foundation sponsored grants at a large research institution.
The coordinator will be responsible for providing grant administration and financial accounting support. Support includes activities such as monitoring and tracking budgets, processing purchase requisitions, creating progress reports, maintaining equipment and supplies, assisting with any outreach efforts, and processing paperwork and payroll as needed. Post-award responsibilities include monitoring the budget, reconciling expenses, monitoring of subawards, and placing lab orders.
