  • Responsibilities

    Boston University seeks a Video Producer, Editor for the College of Fine Arts. This position films, edits, and produces video content for CFA. Reporting to the Media Production Manager within the Colleges communications office, this position is tasked with creating original video content for CFA communications campaigns across web and social assets. This position works with colleagues and subjects both internal and external to shape messaging, style, and scope of video projects, schedules and executes video shoots, edits and animates videos, and performs all post-production needs for their projects.

    Required Skills

    Education: BA in film/television production, video journalism or similar 3-5 years experience in the following areas:

    • Experience operating a wide range of equipment including professional digital cameras and microphones and knowledge of lighting techniques

    • Experience with professional video editing and motion graphics software (Adobe Suite Products preferred) and proficiency in color grading

    • Must be innovative, collaborative, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on deadline
