RESEARCH ASSISTANT, Department of Health Policy/Health Services Research
The Research Assistant will work on an NIH-funded randomized clinical trial that seeks to help parents improve the oral health of their children through text messaging, including changing their diet and seeking dental care. Under the supervision of the Project Manager and Principal Investigators (PI) the research assistant will be part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team. Duties involve scheduling and conducting in-person study visits and follow-ups at community health clinics, implementing participant retention strategies, administering online questionnaires to participants, participating in team meetings and engaging in other research or general office tasks. Some study activities and participant outreach will be conducted remotely. In-person interactions with participants at partner clinics will be in full personal protective equipment and patients are screened prior to appointments. Candidate must be willing to travel to and from partner clinics in the Boston area and work some evenings and Saturdays.
